AMD has announced 4 new processors based on existing architectures aimed at the desktop market. They have been streamlined for stability and longevity, improved efficiency and energy savings. These processors are; 2400 MHz Phenom X4 9750B Quad-Core, 2400 MHz Phenom X3 8750B Triple-Core, 2.9-GHz Athlon X2 5600B Dual-Core and 2500 MHz Athlon X2 4850B Dual-Core, There was not any word on the price or when these new processors will start shipping, By introducing new processors to the desktop market, AMD hope get some of their customer base back from Intel.
