CNET is reporting that intel has released a new 6 core chip, designed for high performance servers. The Xeon 7400 is one of Intels first chips to have multiple cores on a single pieces of silicon, prior to this all Intel chips with more than 2 cores had separate pieces of silicon. The Intel Dunnington chip has 6 cores and 16MB cache.
Well People have seen the lenovo Ideapad S10 While it’s been Making the rounds at tech and Gadget shows, etc. People have been impressed it’s a Nice looking netbook and quite high quality, here is and excerpt from the Article;
I first saw the S10 the other day during the Intel Atom launch and it really grabbed my attention away from the other netbooks on display. It simply looked gorgeous and I was glad that I get to see more if it yesterday.

Right so we were so right about every detail of the Mini Insprion. We said nothing about it coming with a WWAN / 3G modem but we were wrong it does come with 3G. A lot of people seem to have been disappointed with the price of the Mini Inspiron as the base model was expected to cost $299 but actually costs $399. Here is what you get a various price points;

Thanks to leaked presentation slides we now have details on some 8 core CPUs being developed by Intel. Intels Development Model shows that both the Westmere and Sandy Bridge line of processors will be fabricated with 32 nanometer technology in 2009 and 2010. We can expect the Ivy Bridge and Haswell 22 nanometer processors to surface between 2011 and 2012. The Sandy Bridge architecture will double the number of cores per die to eight! While a new instruction set called the Advanced Vector Extensions or AVX for short, will likely get most of the attention.
