Register Hardware has acquired some details about the up and coming Commodore Netbook, it will have the model number UMMD 8010/F and be powered by a Via C7-M processor, like the hp mininote rather than an Atom processor that we see powering Netbooks such as the Acer Aspire One, MSI Wind and Dell Inspiron Mini Netbooks. Many People have criticised the processing power of the Via C7-M processor but to Commodores credit, this leaves open an Upgrade path to the new VIA Nano line of processors, which are said to be whipping the Atom.
